- Opening Hours The Colosseum opens at 8.30 am The Roman Forum-Palatine area opens at 9.00 am 8.30 – 7.15 from 30 March to 30 September 8.30 – 6.30 from 1 to 25 October
- The permanence period in the Colosseum is 75 minutes maximum
- There is free admission every first Sunday of the month
- It is not possible to enter the Colosseum at a different time from the one booked
- the ticket is nominative and cannot be transferred to others
- The name on the ticket will be checked with your passport or identity card at the entrance to the Colosseum
- It is possible to enter the open areas of the Roman Forum and the Palatine Hill with small dogs (weighing between 5 kg and 10 kg). The Colosseum, the Domus Aurea and all closed areas are excluded. Dogs will have to be carried in special carriers belonging to the visitors themselves. Dog prams will not be allowed. Admission for dogs is free of charge.
